All the generations on this planet now know the state of the planet, its importance and the duty we all have as citizens of the world to nurture, protect and heal our home. However, when you look at it from a distance, that can seem rather daunting. Instead, it’s best to look at it in chunks.
If you walk to work if you live within a mile or so, you save lots of energy and pollution in a year’s time. Also, it’s healthier for you, and that can even eliminate the need to go to the gym (another trip that would suck home energy and give off pollution).
If you can ride a bike to the nearest public transportation, you are doubly helping the planet. Investing in a hybrid of electric car can really be smart if a car is a must.
Reusing what you don’t need is crucial. Too much of our waste ends up in landfills. Give it away instead. You make someone else happy, and you help the earth stay a bit greener for all of us.
Bringing a simple canvas bag to you at the store can eliminate the need for the grocer to ask you, “Paper or plastic?” It can also eliminate tons of waste per year if all people start to do this. It can also equate to savings for you. Some stores now give discounts for bringing your own bag.
Remember to reduce, reuse and recycle nearly everything for the thriving of Earth.
